request free trees
and join the movement to plant ten million trees for PA!
There are two ways to apply for trees via K10:
- 1 on 1 matching: You will fill this form, which will match you with one of our partners in your county. Only counties listed in the drop down have available assistance, if you do not see your county, we cannot offer support to you through 1 on 1 matching at this time. Do not select another county if yours is not listed. This may slow down the entire matching process. If your county is unavailable, consider applying for trees via Giveaway (see below). If successfully matched, a partner will reach out to you by May 15th to discuss your property, species preferences, etc. The partner will request trees from K10 and work with you on getting them to your property. They will also walk you through proper planting, tree shelters, tracking your trees, and check-in after planting.
- Giveaway: You will fill out this form, a K10 partner will then reach out to you by May 15th if they are hosting a tree giveaway this Spring. Only counties listed in the drop down have available assistance, if you do not see your county, you may pick a nearby county you are comfortable travelling to. You can then attend the tree giveaway to pick up trees. You can discuss shelters, supplies, proper planting, and track your trees before leaving the event. You will then plant your trees on your property without partner assistance. However, you can still reach out to them with any questions/concerns.
Partners will reach out to you for the Spring 2025 season by May 15th. If you have not heard back by this date, this means our partners were not able to assist you this season. You will not be contacted if assistance isn’t available.
You may apply for either matching system until February 3rd for the Spring 2025 season.
*Note* – Please keep in mind the matching/tree allocation process will look different with each of our partners. If after connecting with a partner you have questions about their process, please reach out to them with questions.
