The Columbia County Conservation District’s mission statement is to lead the citizens of Columbia County in sustainable use of our shared agricultural and natural resources through partnerships, education, and technical assistance, in order to assure the best quality for life for future generations. Conservation districts work with private citizens, partner with state and federal government agencies, and facilitate the work of many private organizations and other conservation districts.
